Introduce an interactive experience and let your custumers view your collection from all angles. Your customers will be able to rotate the item by themselves and get a better feel for the product.

HOW TO SCAN?

  1. Place the calibration board on an empty table.
  2. Place the item in the middle square (Make sure the whole item stays inside the middle square).
  3. With your camera, scan the item, starting from the top and then move the camera in a circle around the item.   
  4. You should move the camera slowly and at a steady pace.
  5. Make sure that the camera stays focused on the item during the scan.
  6. Keep the device at a distance to capture the surrounding black squares, and bring it closer to capture finer details.
  7. After you finish the first scan, flip the item and scan it again (steps 1-6).
  8. Finally, upload the videos to Verto’s system.

DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT FOR THE PROCESS?

The process only requires you to use the camera on your mobile device and the calibration page. If you prefer, you can use a professional camera, too.

HOW DO I UPLOAD FILES FOR PROCESSING?

If you have an account, you can use the Verto mobile app or a web interface to upload the files.

WHAT IS A CAD FILE?

A CAD file is a file that was made by CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software during piece’s design. The file contains a 3D model of the object that is divided to different groups or layers to represent different parts of the object. The file name will usually end with .3dm or .obj.

WHAT ARE THE DELIVERY TIMES FOR MODELING & RENDERINGS?

Depending on the complexity of the models, the usual processing time is ~2-3 business days.

IS THERE ANY SPECIAL PRICING FOR BULK ORDERS?

Bulk discount is available for orders larger than 100 items.

WHAT IS THE RESOLUTION OF THE END RESULT?

All rendered files (stills, videos, etc.) are rendered in full HD (1920 X 1080).

CAN YOU DELIVER FILES IN DIFFERENT RESOLUTIONS?

Other resolutions are available at an additional cost.

WHAT ARE THE FORMATS OF THE DELIVERABLE FILES?
